It's Me, Billy is a short Black Christmas fan and tribute film based on the 1974 Canadian horror classic Black Christmas. The film is an unofficial sequel set 50 years after the events of the first movie, and follows the granddaughter of Jess Bradford. The film was covered by online publications, Bloody Disgusting, Screen Rant, Collider, and Dread Central. It's Me, Billy was nominated for Best Cinematography in the dramatic short category at the 65th Annual CSC (Canadian Society of Cinematographers) Awards in 2022.
Synopsis:
Unaware of the danger that's hunting her, Sam and her two best friends are spending Christmas Eve at her grandmother's old country mansion. Stalked by a sinister evil that's been lurking in the shadows for nearly 50 years, Sam is about to come face to face with her grandmother's chilling Christmas past, the deranged psychopath known only as Billy.
