Dave McRae is a full-time professional voice actor and filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. He is a four time Voice Arts Award Nominee. 3 times for Outstanding National TV Promo, Best Voice Over, and once for Outstanding Body Of Work, Best Voice Actor.
With an incredible vocal range that literally speaks for itself, and nearly 25 years of experience, Dave’s voice is one of the most sought after and respected voices in Canada. His voice has been heard on hundreds of Radio and Television Commercials, Network Promos, Movie and Game Trailers, Corporate Presentation and Training Videos, IVR's, Narration, and Animation across North America and around the world.
Movie trailer credits include - Big Hero 6, Inside Out, IT Chapter 1, Lego Batman, Get Out, Peter Rabbit, The Crazies, and The Descent to name but a few.

FILMMAKER:
Dave attended Niagara College's Broadcasting and Film program from 1999-2001, studying radio, television and film.
Dave co-wrote, co-directed and co-produced the Black Christmas fan and tribute films, It's Me, Billy and It's Me, Billy: Chapter 2. Both films are unofficial sequels to the original Canadian horror classic Black Christmas. It's Me, Billy (2021) was nominated for Best Cinematography in the dramatic short category at the 65th Annual CSC (Canadian Society of Cinematographers) Awards in 2022.
In 2023 Dave played the dream demon Freddy Krueger in the Elm Street Fan Film Dylan's New Nightmare opposite Elm Street Alumni Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary, Kindergarten Cop, Full House, Wes Craven's New Nightmare) and received critical acclaim from Elm street fans for his performance.
Dave continues to collaborate with filmmakers from across Canada and around the world and has several projects in development.
